I’m Darren, the driving force behind Freedom Discos, Sound and Lighting.  With nearly three decades in the entertainment industry, I pride myself on delivering a truly personalised experience, managing every event from your initial inquiry right through to the final encore.

 

Throughout my career, I’ve entertained audiences on holiday parks and hotels, collaborated with cabaret and theatre productions, and even taken to the stage in pantomime.  My experience spans many roles such as a DJ, Host, Stage Manager and Sound and Lighting Technician, often performing several of these roles simultaneously.

 

A highlight of my career was the honour of performing in the presence of the late HRH Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.

 

My commitment to excellence is reflected in achievements such as being named TWIA Highly Commended Wedding DJ of the Year 2025, as well as earning a stellar Trustpilot rating, thanks to the many happy clients who’ve shared their experiences.
